Representatives from Chase Bank will be on campus Wednesday, January 19, looking to hire GCU students and graduates for off-campus jobs. The company will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Union.

GCU will begin construction on a new 502 bed dorm on campus, with the groundbreaking scheduled for January 26. This is the first of two identical dorms to be built side-by-side. The University is looking for your help in naming the two new dorms.

The Musical Instrument Museum (MIM) is offering a discount for two shows at its MIM Theatre. The MIM is located at the corner of Tatum and Mayo boulevards, just south of the 101 in Phoenix.

GCU’s largest college celebrated the opening of its new home on Thursday — and what a home it is. A formal dedication was held for the new College of Education building, which opened to classes on Jan. 5. The two-story facility, wedged gracefully between the library and Fleming, has 19 classrooms and represents a permanent destination for the college, which has bounced around over the years.

GCU Campus Pastor Tim Griffin’s new weekly Bible study got off to a promising start last night. Griffin said the Bible study was something he had high hopes for, but that he had no expectations for how many students would actually show up.
