New Procurement Feature Available on GCU Intranet
Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009A new procurement feature is now available on the GCU Intranet. Procurement involves the acquisition of equipment, furnishings, supplies and various other products and services for the University. Procurement’s role also includes sourcing goods and services; preparing bid specifications; initiating formal quotations, proposals and bids; evaluating bids; and awarding and coordinating all contracts until final completion or termination. This expertise insures that buying decisions will be made in the best interest of the University and in compliance with University policies.
Everyone now has an opportunity to ask questions about procurement. The new feature added to the procurement page can be found at the following link: http://intranet.gcu.edu/departments/procurement/. The purpose of the new feature is to offer helpful clarifications regarding any questions about the procurement process at GCU. Feel free to submit any questions you might have regarding the procurement process and we will due our best to respond within 24 hours. With your permission we may even post the questions and answers to the intranet as a helpful tool for others.
