The Antelope men’s basketball team surprised a packed GCU Arena on Thursday by winning the 2013 “oLipics” Lip Sync event with their colorful, gold-medal rendition of popular rap and pop songs.

Canyonbellas won second place – or the silver medal — by dancing to a collection of songs from the popular movie “Pitch Perfect.” Sodexbros snatched the fan-favorite award and third place (bronze medal), performing in tight, shiny-gold pants and black, tank-top shirts that fit their array of songs from boy bands.

Last year’s winner, Deep Abyss, failed to “medal” in the top three. The four judges for the competition were Dan Majerle, Gabe Salazar, Julia Bates and Chelsea Ellis.
