MyGCU Portal Now the Destination for Your ANGEL login

The MyGCU Portal provides a number of services to students and faculty, including provide access to ANGEL. It has features to help you be successful such as personalized GCU alerts and access to update personal information. Students can find a GPA calculator, online payment submission and many other enhanced features. Beginning 8 a.m. EST on Wednesday, November 10, everyone will be directed to login to the Student Portal to access their ANGEL classroom. Navigating directly to ANGEL will redirect you back to the MyGCU Portal. To access your courses in ANGEL after login, locate the My Courses box on your Student Portal home page. Click on the link for your course to be redirected and automatically signed into your course in ANGEL. Cooke Health Center Offering Flu Shots

International Club Hosts ‘Africa Night’ Oct. 22

The International Student Club is hosting “Africa Night” on Friday, October 22 at 7 p.m. in the Canyon Cafe. The event features African food, music and the African students will dress in their native attire. A photographer will be on hand to take pictures of anyone who would like to pose in front of an authentic African backdrop. There is no charge for photos, but the club will be taking donations from anyone who wants to help the club with future activities. Economic Author Thomas Woods to Speak on Campus

On Wednesday, October 20, New York Times bestselling author, Thomas Woods will be speaking on campus about the financial crisis well as well as the involvement of the federal government. Tickets for this event are free. This discussion will include copies of his most recent title for sale, Nullification: How to Resist Federal Tyranny in the 21st Century.  Ludwig von Mises Institute resident scholar and senior faculty member, Woods received his bachelor’s degree in history from Harvard University. He furthered his education, earning a master’s degree in philosophy and his PhD in Columbia University. Volunteers Needed for Community Fall Festival

WHAT: GCU’s vision is to fill the campus with live entertainment, game and food booths, and inflatable rides for children to play on … and invite the entire community to come and enjoy a free, fun-filled evening of entertainment on our campus as a local Christian alternative to Halloween. This is a sponsored event, at no cost to visitors, bringing local businesses, organizations, and families together for a time of celebration and festivity. We are looking for a great night of fun with hundreds from the community joining us!
