Storage Together prevails in Canyon Challenge

Spencer Maier was the winner in voting done by students via text message.

Nicole Powell’s introduction as GCU’s new women’s basketball coach was cause for celebration Tuesday — for her and for GCU. “I can’t stop smiling,” she said. Neither could University administrators and players on the team. President Brian Mueller: “Her personality impacts you right away.” Vice President of Athletics Mike Vaught: “She’s just a great fit for GCU.” Shooting guard Jessica Gajewski: “We’re super excited.”

Nicole Powell named GCU women’s basketball head coach

GCU has hired Nicole Powell, a former WNBA All-Star, former assistant coach of  Oregon women’s basketball team, and three-time finalist for the James Naismith Player of the Year Award while at Stanford.
