‘Parking heroes’ rewarded for their service
GCU’s Parking Hero challenge ended Friday with the award of 10 prizes to 10 employees who parked at the 27th Avenue Office Center and shuttled back and forth to the main campus to free up spaces for students in the final three weeks of school. Cindy Seminoff was one of two iPad winners, and we couldn’t be happier for her. Her young son’s iPad recently was stolen, and his birthday is this week. (We wanted the Kindle Fire anyway.)

Donations runneth over during GCU dorm move-out
Goodwill of Central Arizona was on campus during move-out to collect dozens of bins of goods to raise funds for no-cost job training for underprivileged residents. For some students, fitting their belongings in their car was quite a challenge.
