UPDATE: New employee ID cards are currently on back order and will not be available until later this month, according to the Office of Student Life. All staff and faculty members who work at GCU’s traditional campus will need to obtain the cards when available.
Meal Cards:
The new ID card also may serve as a meal card for use at the cafeteria or Latte Dah coffee shop – a convenience for those who don’t carry cash. The cafeteria and Latte Dah will also accept cash and credit cards.
‘Lopes Cash:
The new ID card can also be loaded with cash and used for purchases at the cafeteria, Latte Dah coffee shop, the bookstore, the library, the computer lab, and the copy center. To add money to the card, employees need to see a Finance Counselor (Kaibab building) who can take cash, checks, or credit cards for the amount to be placed on the card. The Finance Counselor will then activate the card to reflect card’s balance and the card will be ready for use.
