Business and graphic design students at Grand Canyon University will get an opportunity to meet with potential employers Wednesday in “Meet the Agencies” from 4-6 p.m. in front of GCU Arena.

The event is sponsored by the Colangelo College of Business and hosted by the GCU Lopes Chapter of the American Marketing Association.

Professionals in marketing, advertising, sales and graphic design will be on hand, including representatives from these top firms:

  • LaneTerralever
  • Lavidge/Mosaic Multicultural
  • Moses
  • Off Madison Avenue
  • Owens Harkey
  • Riester
  • American Marketing Association, Phoenix Chapter
  • Austin Group Consulting
  • Decibel Blue
  • Fast Turtle
  • GCU Advertising Agency
  • Market Mindshift
  • National Sales Network
  • Pinnacle Peak Marketing
  • PR Newswire
  • Pyxl
  • Torres Multicultural Communications

Students are encouraged to dress for success and bring their resume and business cards.

Bringing companies onto campus is a key task in the mission led by the Career IMPACT Center and its director, Jacqueline Smith, to give students every possible chance to get internships and jobs.

CCOB sponsored a “Meet the Firms” event for finance and accounting students in September and is planning a “Meet the Properties” get-together for hospitality majors on April 7 at Canyon 49 Grill.

Bible Verse

Jesus continued His message, saying, "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." (John 4:23-24)
