If you’ve never seen the annual Back to School Clothing Drive held at Grand Canyon University’s Arena, you’re missing an amazing event. Picture the arena transformed into a shopping mall with various “department stores” in such categories as shoes, socks and underwear, shirts and sweatshirts, shorks and skorts, and of course, Stitches of Love, the area where each item is handmade.
More than 4,500 children visited the arena this week to get school supplies, clothes, backpacks and more before school starts. Love, kindness and volunteers made this happen!
