Nearly 300 Grand Canyon University students wielded hammers, hoes, shovels, paint brushes and other tools Saturday during Serve the City. There was no shortage of purple power as the students worked at 10 Habitat for Humanity sites to help homeowners improve their property. Along with staff and volunteers, the students worked up a sweat and had a great time.
