Antelope Intros is a recurring GCU Today feature that introduces some of our new employees to the people around them in a way that is fun and informative. Employees are eligible to be featured in the month following their orientation.

What are your favorite places in the Valley that you like to visit? Going to Sedona is always a good getaway spot for the family.

Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know: I was Michael J. Fox’s double in the movie “Teen Wolf.” I was the basketball wolf.

Job location: Peoria

What attracted you to GCU? Personal history – my brother and his wife both graduated from GCU.

What do you do for fun and where do you find that outlet? I like game nights with family and friends, playing with my dogs and cat, and taking my daughter to the mall or the movies.

What are you passionate about? I’m passionate about my daughter. I try to be the best version of myself to be a good role model for her.

What are your favorite places in the Valley that you like to visit? I like to go hiking at North Mountain with my dog, and I’m always counting the days until the State Fair comes to town (Oct. 11).

Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know: I was part of a ’70s band for a few years. We performed for the city of Surprise Christmas block party. It was super fun.

What are you most proud of? I had my daughter during my second year of college, at age 19, and still finished with an associate degree on time and with honors, then went into my bachelor’s program to graduate with honors by the time she was 3. I’m still a single parent, but I have worked hard for the life I wanted my daughter to have. She is my biggest accomplishment.
