Little Jaydon Bartletti and his family have been through a marathon of cancer treatment, and he will serve as honorary starter for the Oct. 26 Run to Fight Children’s Cancer, GCU’s fourth such event but its first in San Diego.

Arena’s national anthem audition a test of stamina for panel of judges

That’s what several judges did in trying to decide on a dozen who will get to sing (or play) before the Antelope men’s basketball games this season. It wasn’t “American Idol,” but most of the tryouts were at least respectable.
