Performance artist Erik Wahl entertained and inspired commencement audiences last week at GCU Arena with his unique works of portraiture. These photos showing him at work were taken from the Arena’s catwalk.
During his two days at GCU, Wahl painted Albert Einstein, Bono, John Lennon, Steve Jobs, Marilyn Monroe and Lady Liberty.
Under the direction of Paul Koch, the University’s program in instrumental music is taking off, and Wednesday night’s concert — the Music Department’s final performance of 2012-13 — left the audience at First Southern Baptist Church wanting to hear more.
